The Salem Public Library site is designed so the user can navigate around the site easily and find information quickly. This site is valid HTML 4.01 code. Because this site takes advantage of newer site design technology it will look better in browsers that support web standards. However it can still be accessed using Internet Explorer 4 and newer and Netscape 4.7 and newer.
The top navigation links take the user to the City of Salem website. The left navigation links and the links found at the bottom are for the Salem Public Library site. Users can return to the home page at any time by clicking on the Salem Library logo at the top center of the page or by following the "home" link at the bottom of the page.
This site was tested extensively to remove barriers to access for individuals with disabilities. The site qualifies for Bobby Section 508 approval.
